Jack Montpellier and Chris Trudeau to Join McEwan Law

We are happy to announce the addition of Jack Montpellier and Chris Trudeau to our team of professionals. Jack is completing his second year of law school at the University of Ottawa. He will arrive in the middle of May and work with us this summer.

Chris has roots in Castlegar, and summered at McEwan Law last year. He graduates from law school this spring, and joins us this summer to work towards completing his articles.

New Office Open in Castlegar

McEwan Law has opened a new office in Castlegar. 

The office is larger than our former offices in Castlegar, and will allow our lawyers to deliver our full range of legal services in Castlegar. Look for us above CIBC at 1801 Columbia Avenue!

New Castlegar Office Underway

McEwan Law is opening a new Castlegar office! We will occupy the space above CIBC in the Castleaird Plaza on Columbia Avenue. Interior renovations are underway, and we expect to move in late in 2011.

Our new office is approximately 2200 square feet. We are excited at the opportunity to provide more convenient service to new and future clients from Castlegar and beyond. We expect to service all of our core practice areas from the Castlegar office.

Ken Wyllie Awarded LSS Chair's Award for Distinguished Service

Ken Wyllie was recently recognized for his work with legal aid. On October 1, 2011, Ken Wyllie received the Legal Services Society Chair's Award for Distinguished Service. This award is presented to lawyers who have made sustained and significant career contributions to legal aid in British Columbia.

Ken continues to accept a large number of criminal law legal aid referrals.

Trail Office Renovations Complete

Our Trail office has a new look!

This summer, we changed the appreance of our Trail office, inside and out. From the exterior signage and awning (which incorporates our new logo), to the interior flooring and wall colours, we have updated our physical presentation to better reflect our personality. Come by and check it out.

On June 1st, 2011, Ken Wyllie joined McEwan Law.

Ken has a vibrant criminal law practice. He attends court all over the West Kootenays, and accepts legal aid referrals. McEwan Law welcomes Ken to our team!
